With as long as this project has gone on, I occasionally find an issue that needs to be fixed. A corrected detail, a typo, a continuity tweak. This page is my attempt at an honest, running record of more-than-a-typo changes. These entries should not alter what happens through the story.

2026-08-14 — Slumber Party ended on a bad game of telephone ###

A back-and-forth with two people is relatively simple to keep properly attributed while reading.

The deliberation scene at the end of Slumber Party was not. It’s three-plus voices with almost no anchor for who said what, because they have no names or forms in this twilight realm.

Each light’s individual commentary should now be easier to follow.

And it forgot to do the wave ####

While I was in there, I made one addition that should have been there all along. The blue light’s warning now runs a couple of sentences longer.

This doesn’t change what will happen (or what has happened, or what must happen again). It may not even explain much.

Before (recorded for posterity):

The entire timeline will collapse, the blue insisted. It nearly did a moment ago -

After:

The entire timeline will collapse, the blue insisted. It nearly did a moment ago. That reversal wasn’t exactly splash-free, either. The ripples are still moving backward—who knows what’s going to spill out over the years—

2026-08-14 — Tari’s recorded birth year is 1848 ###

In Christmas Party, Day 3, Jolene reads Tari’s secured record aloud and interrupts with “1849.” Every other reference in my notes has always been April 1, 1848. The “two-century marker… April first” arithmetic in Ares, Part 2 only works from 1848. It’s minor, but it is a change, so it’s on the list of public self-shaming.

2026-08-07 — A Velorian day is thirty hours ###

Three chapters described a Velorian day as twenty-eight hours. That number never matched the calendar the Chronicles have used from the start. A Velorian day is thirty hours.

A long time ago I wrote a spreadsheet to help with calendar math, and originally used 30 hour days to figure out several anchor points of events along the way… at some point I changed the math to 28 in order to make a Velorian day slightly shorter than a Terran day and didn’t go through and correct any of the anchors I’d created, and then confused myself recently when nothing lined up with old anchors anymore. So, it’s back to 30 hours as the smaller fix.

In seconds, that means:

Joyously overcomplicated.
